Starting in March 2026, every TAYU silicone doll — including models that were originally released before 2026 — comes standard with TAYU's latest softness formulation. The update touches several layers of the body at once: a softer overall silicone blend for the outer skin, a softer foam core underneath used for weight reduction, and softer gel fill in targeted areas. The combined effect is better compression and a more natural give across the body rather than just one isolated spot.

In measurable terms, the foam core is roughly 36% softer, the skin-surface silicone blend is about 33% softer, and the gel filling used in the breasts is up to 54% softer than the prior formulation. The areas most affected are the thighs, belly, breasts, buttocks, and neck, and this upgrade is now a standard inclusion rather than a paid add-on.

The process is slower and more complex than software-based texturing, but it captures genuine skin detail — natural grain, subtle goosebumps, and the fine creasing that forms naturally around the thighs and hips — far more convincingly.

A live female model was used to collect the full surface data, so every part of the body reflects authentic human skin patterns. These textures aren't painted onto the surface afterward; they're embedded directly into the mold itself, which lets light interact with the skin the same way it does on a real body. Combined with the softer silicone formulation described above, the result reproduces the warmth, elasticity, and texture of human skin more closely than previous TAYU generations.

Durability is improved without sacrificing flexibility, resulting in a more lifelike silhouette and better long-term reliability.

Working alongside TAYU's existing foot skeleton system, the articulated toe joints expand posing range, support more natural foot angles, and offer greater resistance to wear over time.

Currently compatible with the 148A, 148D+, 151E, 153E Skin Texture, 158C+, 158D, 161F, and 163D Skin Texture bodies, as well as select classic bodies: 155B/I, 163D, and 170E. This option is best paired with the hard feet upgrade for the most stable result.
